The
firm was founded by Professor Dr. Hermann Goeller in Stuttgart
in 1913. Hermann Goeller soon established a good relationship
with numerous mediumsized companies in the Stuttgart area.
After the economically difficult period of the early 20th century further partners
joined Hermann Goeller so that by the fifties the firm had expanded to four partners.
Hermann Goeller's dedication to high-quality work was continued by Dr. Willy
Hoeger who joined the firm in 1947 and by Wilhelm Stellrecht MSc who became a
partner in 1953 and introduced a lot of international contacts he had from his
years spent with MIT and General Electric.
Hoeger and Stellrecht had thus built the foundation for further growth of the
firm in the sixties when Dieter Griessbach and Walter Haecker became partners.
When Ulrich Böhme joined the firm in 1979 the partners decided to name the
firm "HOEGER, STELLRECHT & PARTNER" which since then has become
an established name in the field of intellectual property with a tradition dating
from the early 20th century.
